After waking up and thanking GOD for another blessing, I get myself ready to start my day as most normal people often do. Then, I may log on to my social media sites and the thing that sours my day is seeing R.I.P. to another young man or woman murdered in my city of Trenton, NJ. It is a visual that is seeming to become constant on my timeline and also disheartening. I have so much hope for my city but it seems that many do not have hope for themselves. There has to be a better way to settle disputes other than violence, but that’s all most of us know growing up in poverty stricken cities like mines. I hope that more young men and women learn that killing each other isn’t solving our problems it is only making it worse for us out here. I’m tired of the funerals and the R.I.Ps.
