Dark Light

That darkness is persuasive,

Dirty deeds are done and it promises to erase it,

The light you can’t face it,

Blinded by reality,

Misguided and crossing all the boundaries,

You’re in foreign territory,

In the morning you hope they’re not mourning and you’re here to tell your story,

It won’t be the truth, will it?

Your hoping the darkness will conceal it,

The shame is too real, so you hide beyond painkillers not to feel it,

But you did it and from your conscious you can’t rid it,

You thought you hid it,

Out of sight out of mind,

But brighter that light shine..
