Changing Habits

Habits are the hardest things to change. We make decisions based off our habits most times, not off our critical thinking skills. We get so used to doing things a certain way that we never take the time out to actually ask ourselves, “is this the best option?”.

Our habits tend to hold us back from progression. We do what’s most comfortable. People will always look for the easiest way out. We always fall back on our default movements. What we know best isn’t always what is best for us.

Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. So many of us want to change our lives, but we wake up everyday and repeat the same thing we did the day before. We do it without even thinking about it. Switch up. Make yourself uncomfortable.

To be the best version of yourself, you have to change the current version of yourself. Don’t let your habits control you.
