It’s not what it was

It’s not what it was…Yet I still don’t know if it is love…I just know I like it when it’s us…it’s definitely not lust…whatever this is, being true is a must…this isn’t for the weak, we have to be tough…you once said it is what it is but I’m saying it’s not what it was…I don’t know if it’s love but I know it’s not lust…

It Is What It Is

How can it be, “It is what it is”, but nobody knows what it is…shiiiiit…I’m to old for these situations, I just want honesty and if I mix it up then give me clarification…if not then time we’re wasting…time reveals all and at this time I see you changing….are we making moves or are we just hanging….are we in it for the long haul or is that fat lady singing….it was all good just a couple hours ago….crazy how things stop when they were just on go….miscommunication can turn a yes to a no…how can one be so high yet feel so low….but hey she said, “IT IS WHAT IT IS” and that’s all that I know

Poetry

We

We move at our pace,

We set our own goals,

We aren’t in a relationship race,

We nourish our own souls,

We rise to the occasion,

We live in the moment,

We make our love amazing,

We make mistakea an own it,

We…we is what we are. We are not them. You are her and I am him, but together it’s WE and that’s how it will always be.
