Life is full of ups and downs. How one reacts to those ups and downs are key. We only think about how we would handle a dire situation, but we rarely discuss how to handle our success or victories in everyday life. I fully believe you should stay even keel whether you win or lose. There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence. Cockiness can put you in a situation that you are not ready to handle. Yes, there is pressure that comes with winning. Pressure to keep winning, to keep racking up those victories. Just understand, sometimes a loss is a lesson that needed to be learned. Stay even.
I been out of work recently due to some health issues and it has been a very stressful experience. There also has been a plus side to it. I have been able to spend some more time with my daughter. What I have learned from this experience is that there is no exact way to raise a child. Nobody has all the answers. My daughter acts completely different with me than with her mother, and she acts completely different when me and her mother are together. My daughter’s mother and I should always be on the same page or at least have the lines of communication open at all times. As I write this I have had to stop multiple times to put my daughter in check lol and also stop her from pressing buttons on my computer. What I have learned today is to be more patient with my daughter and to work in concert with her mother to raise our daughter the best way we can.
One should always continue to learn. You stop learning and you become stagnant, and everything that is stagnant dies. Education doesn’t stop with a diploma or degree. The world is forever changing and you must be able to adapt to changing conditions. Learn a new language. Learn survival techniques. If you struggled in math growing up, begin to learn more. Self-improvement is key..Never settle, continue to learn.
